revealed a pair of partnerships late last week, teaming with Riot Games Database-Link-e1521645463907 and Caffeine Database-Link-e1521645463907 for League of Legends Database-Link-e1521645463907 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Database-Link-e1521645463907 initiatives, respectively.

FACEIT has aligned with Riot Games to present the League of Legends Scouting Grounds Circuit, an amateur competition for up-and-coming North American teams. The $60K series will take place from July to September, and the two top teams will qualify for Riot Games’ own LCS Scouting Grounds tournament in November. That event helps rising players gain visibility to League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) organizations.

“It’s never been more important for us to ensure that we have a robust system in place to facilitate the growth, development, and visibility of the next generation of League of Legends stars,” said Riot Games LCS commissioner Chris Greely, in a release. “Our partnership with FACEIT to provide the Scouting Grounds Circuit allows top amateur teams the opportunity to qualify for our scouting event through the old ‘five players and a dream’ model that we used to see through our historic Open Qualifier and Promotion Tournaments.”

Separately, as the Esports Championship Series (ECS) Season 7 Finals got underway this past weekend, FACEIT announced an exclusive two-episode content series for streaming platform Caffeine called “ECS After Dark” for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition.

The show aired each night following the conclusion of play at The SSE Arena, Wembley in London. It featured discussion between casters, players, and other community figures, as well as live music from rock band Honey Lung.
