Global tournament organizer ESL has made Chinese streaming platform Huya its exclusive digital media partner for Chinese-language broadcasts of the ESL Pro Tour and Dota 2 competitions in a one-year deal. The deal encompasses Mandarin and “other Chinese languages and dialects,” according to a release.

The ESL Pro Tour aspect of this agreement includes Intel Extreme Masters and ESL Pro League-branded Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competitions. Additionally, under a separate sub-licensing agreement, Huya will also acquire the broadcast rights to DreamHack CS:GO and Dota 2 events. DreamHack and ESL share a parent company in Modern Times Group. DreamHack’s CS:GO tournament properties are also included in the ESL Pro Tour.
