ESL Pro League Season 17 Playoffs

by The Old One

The Round of 12 of the Playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 17 will be rounded up by dual matches, one of which is MOUZ vs paiN Gaming

Not all Playoffs matches are high-ranking clashes, and on this occasion we have one of the hard-boiled underdogs of the entire tournament taking on a kindred spirit among the top teams in the world. Both teams have become used to being somewhat out of place with the big boys but still holding their own, and this time they’re up against each other. There’s no question about the fact that MOUZ are stronger on paper, but paiN have done some crazy things already, so if you’re into CSGO betting or just want to know more about this game, read on.

MOUZ

MOUZ have long been a brilliant team that just can’t reach the very top despite regularly competing in events involving the teams there. They have been a formidable side at this tournament as well, taking out the likes of FURIA before losing to Heroic. A potent side, the German organization with a mixed European roster tends to make it to the Playoffs of every big event before failing to make much headway there. This could well be their turn to shine, but only time will tell.

Player To Watch

It’s very hard to lean on one player from this crop of brilliant talents, but we’re going to go for arguably the most reliable of the lot with frozen.

paiN Gaming

It’s safe to say that nobody, not even the players on paiN Gaming themselves would have expected to come this far at this extremely competitive tournament. They have punched well above their weight multiple times already, and after their most recent and comprehensive win against Team Liquid, there’s really no way to underestimate them anymore. It’s hard to even call MOUZ the favorites anymore despite the sheer difference between the rankings of these two teams, that’s how far paiN have come. Let’s see if they can cause yet another upset.

paiN to take it 2-1 based on their incredible momentum.
