ELEAGUE announced that it has entered into a partnership with in-game advertising platform Anzu.io. Anzu.io will take on a new format of brand advertising for the tournament organizer across linear, mobile, and console gaming.

“ELEAGUE and Anzu’s partnership is a significant milestone in evolving esports advertising innovation. We are consistently developing new avenues to advance esports advertising and introduce partners to this passionate community. Anzu opens the door for another level of advertising impact combined with personalized content discovery,” said Seth Ladetsky, senior vice president of ad sales for Turner Sports.

According to the release, Anzu.io will open its global advertising inventory to ELEAGUE, allowing the esports tournament organizer’s brand sponsors to incorporate various types of advertisements in standard IAB formats, including logos and videos.

A number of “precise targeting options” will allow ELEAGUE to monetize games during tournaments.

ELEAGUE is Turner and IMG’s esports tournament brand. It has produced tournaments for a number of gaming titles including Magic: The Gathering Arena, CS:GO, Overwatch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Street Fighter V, Dota 2, FIFA 20, Rocket League, TEKKEN 7, and others.
