DreamHack Announces 2020 Schedule, Returns to India for Third Consecutive Year

DreamHack has released its 2020 schedule, which includes 11 stops over three continents with a return to India (for the third consecutive year) slated later in the year.

The Swedish production company specializing in esports tournaments and gaming festivals, features esports tournaments in titles such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Fortnite, and more.

In 2020, DreamHack Leipzig will be the home for one of the Dota 2 Majors, as well as a CS:GO open event. Additionally, DreamHack Anaheim will be the first DreamHack event ever in the city and will include a $250K USD Fortnite event.

The Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major will be the second major of the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit and will feature a $1M prize pool.

This will be the third year DreamHack goes to India, with 2020 being in Hyderabad. Previously, DreamHack had gone to both Mumbai and Delhi.

The 2020 DreamHack Schedule is as follows:

  • May 22-24 DreamHack Dallas, Texas, USA

  • Sept. 11-13 DreamHack Montreal, Canada
  • Oct. 16-18 DreamHack Rotterdam, Netherlands
  • Oct. 30-Nov. 1 DreamHack Hyderabad, India
  • Nov. 13-15 Dreamhack Atlanta, Georgia, USA
  • Nov. 27-29 DreamHack Winter, Jönköping, Sweden
  • Dec. 11-13 DreamHack Sevilla, Spain
