Polish esports organisation devils.one has partnered with simulation racing organisation TRITON Racing.

As part of the deal, DV1 TRITON Racing – a sim racing team for devils.one – has been formed.

Maciej Sawicki, Co-owner and Manager of devils.one commented in a release: “devils.one believes sim racing seamlessly merges new technologies with entertainment, positioning it to become the esport of the future. By connecting a virtual environment with real sport, sim racing creates a unique experience for both fans and players. By partnering with TRITON Racing we are setting the stage for much-deserved exposure for the sim racing community and a continued commitment to developing the sim racing scene as it gains global momentum.”

TRITON Racing’s simulators will be installed at Kinguin’s Esports Performance Center to enable DV1 TRITON Racing’s competitors to practice. Earlier this year, Esports Insider sat down with Viktor Wanli, CEO of Kinguin to discuss the Warsaw-based performance facility.

Arkadiusz Polok, CEO of TRITON Racing also discussed the partnership: “We are seeing traditional racing fans embrace esports more easily when compared to other traditional sports fans. Partnering with devils.one is a next step toward fulfilling our goal of making sim racing available to more racing and esports fans, expanding its international footprint and providing an avenue for professional players to optimize their skills.”

devils.one was one of three Polish organisations that partnered with Wrigley Company’s chewing gum brand Orbit in April. As well as sim racing, it fields competitors in League of Legends and Fortnite.

Esports Insider says: There’s a decent level of support in sim racing – which, as a genre, is deeper and more extensive than most people thing – so we expect to see more recognisable organisations getting involved before long.
