South Korean organization T1 has reportedly acquired former CS:GO Pro Braxton “Swag” Pierce for it’s professional team which will be competing in the pro scene of Riot Games’ upcoming FPS title Valorant. T1 has bought in Swag as a content creator and a professional player as well thus in the due course honoring the latter’s eagerness to compete in the same and be the best player in Valorant’s pro circuit.

Previously known as Project A, Riot games finally came up with the name Valorant on 2nd of March. No sooner than this news came up on riot Games’s Twitter, we did witness some of the leading top teams in the industry who decided to capitalize on this new FPS title as they already seemed to have joined the hype train, in a race to build a team for competing at the same. T1 isn’t the only team to have shown interest for this upcoming project as Team SoloMid and G2 Esports have already pitched in their interests on their Twitter accounts in a bid to create a team.

But if we bring some light on this report, T1 might have got an upper hand in this upcoming project as they already have recruited North America’s CSGO Veteran who never really got to showcase his skills following the 2015 iBUYPOWER Scandal where Swag’s future seemed to have blipped out. Since then Valve never looked up in his case as he remained banned until on February 28th , the latter decided to hang up his mouse and decided to step down from Counter Strike : Global Offensive’s Pro circuit.

Swag though might have quit the professional scene of CS:GO, but he did mention in his twitter post that he would still be participating in some casual PUG matches. We won’t be seeing him take over the reins until the summer of 2020 as Valorant will then get ready to sail.
