The BLAST Premier Fall Finals CS:GO tournament has come to its conclusion on November 27th, and fans of the competitive shooter from throughout the world have tuned in to the event to watch their favorite pro teams in action.

The LAN tournament took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, and boasted a prize pool of a whopping $425,000 USD.

Eight of the best CS:GO teams – NAVI, OG, Team Liquid, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Heroic, and Fluxo – battled it out in the big stages for a shot at victory. After five days of intense Counter-Strike action, Heroic managed to come out on top after defeating FaZe in the grand finals of the tournament.

BLAST Premier Fall Final Viewership

The final showdown between Heroic and FaZe saw the event hitting a peak viewer count of 421,711, as per data from Esports Charts. The event turned out to be significantly less popular than the BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022, which took place in June.

According to many CS:GO fans, this noticeable decrease in popularity might be due to the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022. In fact, the heavily anticipated Germany vs Spain game in the world cup took place around the same time as the grand finals of BLAST Premier Fall Finals, which may have taken a significant toll on the viewership of the latter.
