Best AK-47 Skins, Bring The Swag

by Zlosterr

CS:GO has some great weapon skins, with the AK offering some best. Here’s our take on Best AK-47 Skins.

Although CS:GO is similar to other shooters in many things, it has its differences. One of the most notable ones is the game’s cosmetic items. The so-called CSGO skins are special items that change the looks of a given weapon/item without providing any in-game benefits. In other words, the skins don’t give extra damage, better accuracy, and things like that.

This business model has fans worldwide because it allows players to customize their weapons without receiving additional benefits. Hence, CS:GO is not a “pay-to-win” game, a common problem for other shooters and MMOs.

Every weapon in the game has its specific CSGO skins. Not all of them are that popular, but others have loads of fans worldwide. Although most people are interested in the AWP skins, this article will focus on another popular weapon – AK-47.

There are a couple of top-rated skins that deserve some attention, so let’s check them out. Keep in mind that the list below is in no particular order.

Gold Arabesque

Gold is one of the most desirable things, and it has a unique role for many people. Aside from using it for investment and jewelry, many games have “gold” items that should be rarer and more expensive than others. This is also true for the AK-47 because it has a skin called Gold Arabesque.

Unlike some options you will find on this list, this item has been a part of the game since September 2021. Despite not being that old, its price can easily reach over $5000. This also makes it one of the game’s most expensive CS:GO skins.

Neon Rider

Despite not being as rare as the Gold Arabesque, the Neon Rider is a popular skin for the AK-47. As its name suggests, this bright-colored option makes the weapon look way cooler. In fact, this is probably one of the skins that pop out the most.

Although there are instances where you can get it for as low as $20, you may have to pay up to $100 for a factory new one. With that being said, this skin won’t be everyone’s cup of tea because it might be too flashy for some people.

Wild Lotus

Even though this may not be the most popular AK-47 skin in CS:GO, Wild Lotus is probably one of the best-looking ones in the game. The green colors mixed with blooming flowers make the weapon feel alive. However, this does come at a cost because this skin usually starts at around $1500.

In case you didn’t know, Wild Lotus became available in CS:GO in 2019, followed the Operation Shattered Web. Nowadays, you can see it from time to time, but it is not as common as some other options on the list.

Hydroponic

This is one of the oldest CSGO skins for the AK-47 because it became available in 2015 after the Bloodhood Operation. Unlike other options on this list, this one looks clean and fresh. Hence, people who want to have something cool but stay under the radar will most likely prefer this option to those mentioned before that.

Sadly, having skin that looks good is not cheap. This one is typically around 1000 EUR, but it could cost more than that. Keep in mind that all prices mentioned here are subject to change and depend on loads of factors.

Fire Serpent

Speaking of old CS:GO skins, one of the options that always comes to mind is the Fire Serpent. It is safe to say this was one of the oldest and best skins for this weapon for many years. Even though it became available in 2013, the Fire Serpent was the go-to option for every hardcore CS:GO player.

This skin’s price fluctuates greatly, so it depends on when you check it out. In most cases, it will be around $1800, but don’t be surprised if you find it elsewhere for more money. For example, there are many places where you can trade your CS:GO skins for real money, and people there can sell them for more than $4000.

Redline

Added in 2014, the AK-47 Redline is one of the most popular skins for this weapon. Unlike others on this list, this one is not that expensive because its starting price is usually around $7. Hence, more players can afford it.

Redline is a part of The Phoenix Collection, which includes a couple of other popular skins. However, the one for the AK-47 stands out and has become most people’s favorite option.

Case Hardened

After pointing out one of the cheapest AK-47 skins in the game, it is time to take a look at one of the most expensive options ever. Also known as “Case Hardened “, this skin can often read over $500. Although this may not seem as impressive as other options on this list, it is still a lot of money for an in-game skin.

With being said, the reason we’ve decided to include the Case Hardened option here is because of a recent transaction. A round 1 year ago, Case Hardened AK-47 skin with four Katowice 2014 Titan stickers sold for a jaw-dropping $150,000. Needless to say, this became the most expensive skin in CS:GO. The previous record was from July 2020, when a person sold a skin for $100,000.

Elite Build

Aside from Redline, which is a popular option for many CS:GO players, there is one other cheap option that looks pretty cool. Elite Build is an inexpensive skin that looks much better than almost everything in this price range. Instead of using dark colors, this skin makes the weapon look more attractive.

As for the price, this skin can range between $1 and $2, depending on the wear vision. There should be at least a few options on the Steam Market, so make sure you check it.

Asiimov

Last but not least, we had to include the AK-47 Asiimov skin. This one stands out because it is white, orange, and black. Even though most people associate Asiimov with the popular AWP skin, the AK-47 is also one of the popular options.
