Astralis to add two more players to its CSGO roster

by Kanishk Thakur

The ESL One Road to Rio is still ongoing and the teams are battling with each other in order to secure a spot for themselves in the upcoming major. Astralis have been performing quite well in this tournament and are currently the #1 team in the world. Although we have news that they are set to add not just one but two more players to their current CS: GO Roster.

Few months back Astralis signed Patrick “es3tag” Hansen and he would begin to play with the roster starting from July 1 but according to a report by Jarek ‘DeKay’ Lewis in the past few days, the organization has again started searching for another player to be added into their CSGO roster and possibly making a total of eight players in the team. Astralis’s head coach ‘zonic’ told in an interview that adding an extra player in the squad was beneficial for the team and for the long term performance of the current team.

It will be very interesting to see how Astralis manage all the eight players in the squad and who gets to be in the top 5 in the upcoming tournaments and who is benched off by the team. It is not confirmed that if the new players would replace the current playing team or just work together with the lineup.
