Robert Bryson Hall II, aka “Logic” has signed a deal worth seven figures to stream exclusively with Twitch, according to a report by The Verge. Last week, Hall announced that he was retiring from the music industry in order to focus more on being a father; now he starts on the not-so-new-path of streaming, which he has already been doing on Twitch since 2015. This is the first time Twitch has signed an exclusive partnership with a musician.

The 30-year-old Rockville, Maryland, native is an award-winning R&B/Hip-Hop artist that has taken home awards at the MTV Video Music Awards, winning the Best Fight Against the System category in 2017 and had a 2018 BMI Pop Awards, award-winning song “1-800-273-8255,” a suicide prevention anthem.

Hall’s first stream taking place on July 21 at 5pm PST will also serve as the premiere of his newest album, No Pressure, which will see a full release on July 24.
