Na’Vi makes changes to their Dota 2 roster » TalkEsport

by The Crew

Despite a great showing at ESL ONE MUMBAI, which saw Na’Vi finish 3rd, NAVI.DOTA 2 roster underwent changes today. These changes are made keeping in mind the upcoming minor and major qualifiers, which will be the last for the current DPC season.

First up, Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev, who missed the ESL ONE MUMBAI event due to health issues, returns to the active line-up in place of Mikhail “Misha” Agatov, who stood in as captain at ESL ONE Mumbai and did a commendable job in his absence.

Now coming to the second change. The team’s position 4 support player, Evgenii “Chuvash” Makarov, moves into an inactive role within the team. His place will be taken by Emil “Zayac” Emilzhanov(transferred from The Pango). Zayac has played for renowned teams like Vega Squadron and MVP Revolution as well, earlier in his career.

Statement from Na’Vi.Dota 2 manager, Igor ”caff” Sydorenko:

It happens sometimes that a team reaches a certain limit and in order to progress further, it is necessary to make some changes. Chuvash is a good player and a team-mate, I wish him good luck and I am sure he will be able to fully open up as a player in a new team.

In turn, I am pleased to welcome Bakyt to the team. I believe that he will bring a lot of new ideas and strengthen us before one last leap to the main tournament of the year.

Statement from Jaroslav Komkov (CEO Winstrike):

On the part of Winstrike and The Pango, we want to thank Bakyt for his participation in «Pangoliers». He proved himself to be an incredibly gifted player and his Techies is forever in our hearts. We wish him good luck in NAVI and hope to see some great games in near qualifiers.

The full Na’Vi roster is:

  • Vladislav ‘Crystallize’ Krystanek
  • Idan ‘MagicaL’ Vardanian
  • Evgeniy ‘Blizzy’ Ree
  • Evgeniy ‘Zayac’ Makarov
  • Akbar ‘SoNNeikO’ Butaev

Soon the renewed NatusVincere Dota 2 team will gather for a bootcamp in Kiev, starting the preparation for the upcoming major and minor qualifiers, and other events.
