MiBR keeps going down and down and down – esportsjunkie

by Shehryar Raza

The MIBR side, with an up-and-coming lineup, performed well in the IEM Katowice Major, finishing in the 4. We think there is no reason for the fans to complain about this result. Yet, what’s happening since then should be investigated by the MIBR fans. Not long ago, FalleN’s team received a huge slap in the face, as they were eliminated from the BLAST Pro Series São Paulo without a win. Since then the side is in free fall.

The StarSeries & i-League’s seventh season is a huge catastrophe for the team, and if we look at the whole picture, it is clear that something is wrong. Only one victory was accomplished in their last 10 matches. In those games, the Brazilian side lost to tier two teams, like Panda, NRG, Windigo, and Renegades.

Of course, every player and team may have worse days, worse matches. But MIBR is declining even further. Almost everybody, including the players themselves, thought that after so much work and practice with stars like Stewie2K and YNK, the team will rise. The All-Brazilian line-up and unified communication would bring FalleN again to the top of the ranks. However, the series of defeats broke not only the lineup’s morale but also the most enthusiastic fans.

Old Tactics Not Working

When the exchanges took place, the role of YNk was taken over by zews as a coach. While TACO became a member of the team again. The former coach gave a rather meaningful interview: YNk said that the team should focus on learning English and playing with an All-Brazilian team will not solve the problems of the team.

According to FalleN, he wanted to play with a pure Brazilian Strategy. He believes that the all-Brazilian side will bring back glory days of SK and Luminosity Gaming. These teams brought many LAN titles, including a Major victory. The management was confident that the guys will establish the old dominance with a little hard work. But since FalleN’s 2016 Major victory, the game has changed all the way to the professional field. The mentality with which the Brazilians thought they could win three years ago is simply not working in the modern game.

Where will we see MIBR?

The BLAST Pro Series Miami will start on April 12, and the American division of the EPL’s ninth season will be on the same day. While IEM Sydney will be at the end of the month. For the remaining few days, they will definitely have to devote themselves to finding out what’s wrong and how to fix it. Since the entire team can break down quickly if they produce similar results to StarSeries in April.

A few hours ago one of the team’s players, fer pranked the community by tweeting that StarSeries was his final tournament with MIBR.

After lighting up the social media, a few hours later he clarified that StarSeries is the last tournament until BLAST Pro Series Miami. If this form continues, then fer and the rest of MIBR might have to change the roster soon.
